Where are we, anyway? Step one — we’re not just in Kansas, or just in Missouri. Kansas City is a sprawling region, covering 9,193 square miles across both states, with our metro’s downtown urban core located on the Missouri side. Locals often refer to either side of the state line as KCMO and KCK.
Experience all the seasons. Here, you’ll get the full spectrum of weather, from blooming spring and warm, humid summers to brisk falls and bright, snowy winters.
