In Kansas City, sports are anything but ordinary.

We love to make history. From multiple Super Bowl appearances in the last five years to building the world’s first women’s professional sports stadium, Kansas Citians are simply the best at cheering their teams on to victory, both on and off the field.

We welcome the world. In 2026, Kansas City will host teams and fans for the largest sporting event in history — FIFA World Cup 26™. The home of the legendary Kansas City Chiefs, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, will hold six matches, including a quarter-final.

And we’re building it all from right here. KC is the sports architecture capital of the world — firms here have been key to the design of 13 of the 16 FIFA World Cup™ fields and 27 out of the 30 NFL stadiums, as well as creating the gold standard for Olympic arenas.
