Love in All Colors in KC
KC Heartland is home to a very supportive and inclusive community, with more than 60,000 people in our region identifying as LGBTQIA+. Our open hearts led us to host one of the longest-running and largest Pride Fest celebrations in the U.S., and we are proud to rank as a top location for equality.
The Parade of Hearts, a public art campaign that ran March to June 2022, featured several LGBTQIA+ inspired KC Heart sculptures placed around the region, including “Pride of the City,” “Love in All Colors,” and “Be You. Do You. Celebrate You.”
